Kerry criticises Bush 9/11 reaction

Presidential hopeful John Kerry today criticised George Bush for spending seven minutes reading to schoolchildren after being told the United States was under terrorist attack on September 11.

President Bush was on a visit to a Florida school on the fateful day in 2001, when a senior adviser whispered in his ear that a second airliner had hit the World Trade Centre in New York.
