Floods killed another 27 people, bringing the death toll to nearly 200 in Bangladesh, as relief workers struggled to reach millions of stranded people waiting for food, drinking water and medicine.

Nearly two-thirds of Bangladesh’s land has been covered by flood waters since the start of the monsoon in late June. The floods have affected about 15 million people and killed at least 195 in Bangladesh, relief workers said.
