Woman dies in skydiving tragedy

A British tourist plunged to her death today after her parachute malfunctioned during a skydive near the southeastern Australian city of Melbourne, police said.

Police said the woman was believed to have been an experienced skydiver attempting her 200th jump, Australian Associated Press reported. Her name was not immediately released.
