Bush moves to protect food supplies
US President George Bush is ordering three Cabinet departments and the US Environmental Protection Agency to develop new procedures to protect the nation’s food supply from terror attack.
An executive order involved the departments of agriculture, health and human services and homeland security, as well as the Environmental Protection Agency, in the response to potentially calamitous agricultural terrorism.
