French prosecutors have opened an investigation into alleged racism by a popular comedian whose TV antics included dressing up as an Orthodox Jew and decrying an ”American-Zionist” axis.

Dieudonne M’Bala M’Bala’s performance, which drew criticism from the French prime minister, happened during a prime-time TV show, You Can’t Please Everybody.
