Baghdad blasts 'not explosives'

Large explosions were heard in central Baghdad tonight and flames and thick smoke were seen rising, just hours after US officials announced the capture of Saddam Hussein.

But a policeman said the explosions were caused by fuel canisters on a lorry and not explosives.
