Carr: I did not 'groom' girls for Huntley

Maxine Carr angrily denied any suggestions she or Ian Huntley groomed Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman before they disappeared from Soham, the Old Bailey heard today.

Carr was quizzed by police following her arrest over whether she used her friendship with the girls to help “form a plan”.
