Tourists rescued from sinking yacht

Six Italian tourists were plucked to safety today by a Greek coast guard helicopter as their yacht sank beneath them in the Aegean Sea.

The Arcadia Vienna was sailing five miles south-east of Amorgos Island, about 110 miles south-east of Athens, when the skipper sent a distress signal to Italian maritime officials.
