Two killed as trains collide in Germany

Two people were killed and several more seriously injured today when two trains collided in south-west Germany.

The two local trains crashed shortly after noon on a single-track rural line between the towns of Schrozberg and Niederstetten, west of Nuremberg.

Police had no further details of the accident, and there was no immediate word on the cause of the crash.
