Aziz capture: US to announce capture of another top Iraqi

Tariq Aziz, Iraq’s former deputy prime minister and the most visible leader other than Saddam Hussein, was today in the hands of US forces.

Officials at the Pentagon and at Central Command headquarters in Qatar said they did not know whether Aziz was captured or had turned himself in.
