Iraqi child recovering from injuries

The 12-year-old Iraqi boy who suffered severe burns and lost both arms in the bombardment of Baghdad was recovering today from skin graft surgery, his plastic surgeon said.

Ali Ismaeel Abbas was happier and in less pain than when he arrived in Kuwait nearly three weeks after a missile destroyed his house and killed his father, siblings and pregnant mother, Dr Imad Najada said.
