Battle reported at Baghdad airport

US forces were reported to be battling Iraqi troops dug in at Baghdad’s Saddam Hussein international airport tonight.

Reuters correspondent Luke Baker, reporting from near Baghdad, said military sources told him an infantry task force was fighting Iraqis defending the airport.
