Blair talks with Bush after government debate
British Prime Minister Tony Blair spoke to US President George Bush for 20 minutes after Prime Minister's Question Time finished in the British House of Commons at 12.30pm, Downing Street has said.
No further details of the call were released.
Key British Cabinet members have arrived at Downing Street at 4pm.
British Home Secretary David Blunkett, Work and Pensions Secretary Alistair Darling and Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott all travelled to No 10.
British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw joked with a photographer but none would answer journalists’ questions.
