Milosevic's heath deteriorating says ally

Slobodan Milosevic's health continues to deteriorate says a colleague of the former Yugoslav president.

He has been indicted for atrocities his forces committed in the 1990s wars in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo. The former president has refused to appoint a defence lawyer, opting to represent himself.

Mr Bjelica said a group of Yugoslav doctors who had treated Milosevic in the past are ready to travel to The Hague.

"Apparently, the therapy he was given by the doctors in The Hague gave no positive result," Mr Bjelica said.
