Rain swells rivers in flood-hit Germany

Fresh rainfall today fed already swollen rivers in southern Germany increasing flooding that has already caused significant damage to the area.

The states of Bavaria and Baden-Wuerttemberg both declared states of emergency this weekend as rains washed out roads, caused landslides and flooded homes.
