Gunmen attack Moscow's deputy mayor
Gunmen have opened fire on a car carrying the deputy mayor of Moscow.
Police say one of his bodyguards and a young man were wounded in the attack.
A dead body was later found in the assailants' abandoned car, which had been set on fire. Police have not yet identified the body.
The deputy mayor, Iosif Ordzhonikidze, escaped unharmed.
The attack took place on one of Moscow's major highways during the morning rush hour.
A 19-year-old student, who was riding in a minibus near the scene, was injured by gunfire, and taken to hospital.
Police say the attackers drove past Mr Ordzhonikidze's car and cut it off underneath a bridge.
They then fired 30 rounds of ammunition through the windscreen of the vehicle before speeding away. One of the bodyguards got out of the car and opened fire.
Immediately after the shooting, another vehicle rammed Mr Ordzhonikidze's car from behind, in an apparent accident.
Police have cordoned off the scene of the shooting, which is dotted with blood and broken glass.
