The United States has said that Yugoslavia is co-operating with the international War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague, paving the way for the resumption of US aid which was frozen by Congress.

The United States has said that Yugoslavia is co-operating with the international War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague, paving the way for the resumption of US aid which was frozen by Congress.

US Secretary of State Colin Powell, who announced the change after a meeting with Yugoslavia’s foreign minister and Serbia’s Prime Minister, praised recent steps, including the transfer of ethnic Albanian prisoners from Serbian custody to the UN.
