36 feared dead in Papua New Guinea landslide
Up to 36 people are now feared dead after a landslide triggered by an earthquake in Papua New Guinea.
The landslide swept through villages in Morobe province early on Tuesday after a mountainside collapsed during a 5.3-magnitude earthquake.
Soil on the slope had been saturated by weeks of heavy rain. Despite more than two days of rescue efforts, only eight bodies have been recovered. 28 people are still missing and presumed buried under the rubble.
