US withdraws $25m bin Laden reward offer to Afghans

The US Government has withdrawn its $25m (€28m) reward offer to Afghans for finding Saudi dissident Osama bin Laden.

A senior US official told the Washington Post that the offer was withdrawn because it was "beyond the comprehension of the Afghan people".
