Princess Margaret dies

Britain's Princess Margaret has died, Buckingham Palace has just confirmed.

The Princess died "peacefully in her sleep", according to the Palace statement.

Princess Margaret had suffered a series of strokes in recent years and was seen in a wheelchair on a recent family outing.
