UN steps up efforts to reach remote Afghan communities

The UN is to start using helicopters to deliver aid to remote mountain regions in northern Afghanistan.

World Food Programme spokeswoman Christiane Berthiaume said two helicopters would be based in the northern town of Mazar-e-Sharif.
