Muslim leaders angered at 'war justified' pamphlet
British Foreign Office plans to distribute a pamphlet justifying the war in Afghanistan have angered UK Muslim leaders.
The pamphlet, called Never Again, will be distributed to a wide range of ethnic groups and diplomats this week.
A British Foreign Office spokesman says: "It will be sent to a wide variety of ethnic groups and diplomats in the UK this week. It explains the world consensus about the need to take action."
Dr Syed Aziz Pasha, general secretary of the Union of Muslim Organisations says: "They want to convince us that the war is justified, but they will not. The government has a guilty conscience because what they are doing is not right."
However, Indarjit Singh, director of the Network of Sikh Organisations, representing around 100,00 British Sikhs said: "Most Sikhs agree that Bbin Laden should be caught and it is right to go into Afghanistan."
