Elderly woman killed in anthrax outbreak
A 94-year-old American woman has died of inhalation anthrax.
The woman's illness was the first new diagnosis since the mystery death of a hospital worker in New York late last month.
John Rowland, the governor of Connecticut, says there is no evidence she contracted anthrax by a criminal act.
She is the fifth person to die of the inhalation form of the disease, including a British-born journalist in Florida, two postal workers in Washington DC and the hospital worker in New York.
