Charges against pop's Jay Kay 'to be dropped'

Pop singer Jay Kay was today having criminal charges against him formally dropped, the Crown Prosecution Service said.

The Jamiroquai front man had been facing accusations of common assault and criminal damage - which he denied - relating to a fracas outside trendy Attica nightclub in London in April this year.
