Imelda's shoes taken off show
Imelda Marcos' famed shoe collection has been ditched from the museum it was kept in.
The 1,500 pairs were displayed in the Malacanang Palace Museum as testament to the decadence of the deposed leader's widow.
The museum has reopened for the first time since President Arroyo took office, and is now housed at the Kalayaan Building.
The Marcos family were the last tenants of the palace before it was turned into a museum, according to reports.
It closed when Mrs Arroyo restored the tradition of presidents living in it, by moving her family in, in January.
