Indonesian MPs in live TV fight
A fight between members of Indonesia's top assembly was broadcast live on the country's television.
Dozens of the legislators were involved in the brawl at the front of the assembly chamber.
The fight was sparked by an argument between the body's speaker and a member from a remote province.
He was protesting over what he believed was an attempt to stop members from remote areas forming an official faction.
While the scuffle continued other members cheered and stamped their feet.
Proceedings were finally adjourned to let members calm down, reports The Straits Times.
The assembly's speaker, Dr Amien Rais, later accused the members of displaying contempt for the legislature.
