Three hanged for ritual murder of politician

A shaman couple and their apprentice, who chopped up a politician eight years ago in a gruesome ritual killing, were hanged before dawn today, news reports in Malaysia said.

Maznah Ismail, 45, and her husband, Mohamad Afandi Abdul Rahman, 41, and Juraimi Hussin were found guilty of murdering politician Mazlan Idris in July 1993 in a ritual to create a money-making talisman.
