Fayed goes to court over 'flawed' Diana inquiry
A court will next week hear a lawsuit by Mohammed Al Fayed that claims a French judge conducted a flawed inquiry into the deaths of Diana, Princess of Wales and his son Dodi Fayed.
State prosecutor Pierre Dillange, in a document dated September 10, recommended that the Government acknowledge liability because Judge Herve Stephan, who led the inquiry, did not investigate Al Fayed’s claim of invasion of privacy against the photographers at the scene of the crash.
