BA announce the return of Concorde

British Airways says plans are already underway to resume commercial flights on Concorde next month.

Airline executives have expressed their delight that the supersonic jet has been declared airworthy again.

The jets were grounded more than a year ago after the Paris crash, which killed 113 people.

One of BA’s seven Concordes has been modified and is ready to fly, a further two will be ready by October.

The return of the Concorde fleet had been delayed last month after technicians said they wanted more time to check modifications.
