Pig Brother won’t boar internet viewers

The internet fly-on-the-wall show "Pig Brother" goes online today.

The internet fly-on-the-wall show "Pig Brother" goes online today.

One of the five fully distinguishable pigs will be evicted by viewers each week - in the style of Channel 4’s Big Brother.

The five pigs have been named after politicians Portillo, Brown, Beckett, Widdecombe and Blair, who is currently tipped to win the competition to save the bacon.

The show’s pigsty is fitted with a custom-made diary room and several cameras, which will record the pigs’ antics 24 hours a day.

Cash raised by the show will go to a charity for farmers affected by the foot-and-mouth crisis in Britain.

Richard Counsell, organiser of Pig Brother, believes it will hog global ratings.
