Michael Barrymore due to answer bail

Michael Barrymore is due to answer police bail following his arrest on suspicion of drugs offences after the death of a man at his house.

The 49-year-old is due to attend Harlow police station, near his home in Roydon, Essex.

He was arrested in June on suspicion of possession and supply of a Class B drug, possession of a Class A drug.

In addition he was arrested over allowing his premises to be used for the taking of a Class B drug.

His arrest followed the death of Stuart Lubbock, 31, who was found floating in Barrymore's swimming pool on March 31.

A post-mortem examination revealed the butcher's assistant, from Harlow, drowned.

Two other men aged 26 and 31 are also due to answer bail following their arrest on suspicion of murdering of Mr Lubbock.

Barrymore arrived in Britain on Monday from the US after treatment for "personal problems" at a rehabilitation clinic in Arizona.
