One dead, 13 hurt in minibus crash
One person was killed and 13 people injured when a minibus flipped over on the eastbound carriage of the M62 in Yorkshire.
West Yorkshire Ambulance Service scrambled eight ambulances, three support vehicles and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance to ferry the casualties to hospital.
It is understood all the passengers involved in the accident between junction 29 and 30 of the motorway in West Yorkshire are male adults.
Six people were taken to Pinderfields General Hospital - three of whom had minor injuries, one with lacerations to the head and two with head, shoulder and wrist injuries.
Three people were taken to Pontefract General Infirmary - one with back pains, another with head injuries and the injuries of the third are unknown.
The other four passengers were taken to Leeds General Infirmary.
The worst hurt, a man in his early 30s, was flown by air ambulance suffering with chest pains and breathing difficulties after being thrown from the vehicle.
Of the other three, two have injuries that are not yet known and the third has chest injuries and a possible broken leg.
A West Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We have taken 13 patients to hospital all together and there was one fatality."
West Yorkshire Police are not yet certain how the accident happened or if there were any other vehicles involved.
