Elderly man drowns looking for golf balls
An 84-year-old man has drowned after falling into a canal on a Florida golf club while collecting golf balls.
Joseph Cesario's body was found floating in a canal near the 18th hole at the Deer Creek Country Club Course.
Police were told by the dead man's family Mr Cesario liked to walk the course near where he lived and gather lost golf balls.
Investigators believe Cesario may have been reaching for a golf ball when he fell into the canal. His family says he was unable to swim.
Detectives found no signs of foul play and a medical examiner ruled Mr Cesario's death as accidental drowning.
