Chris Evans and Billie Piper have married in a ceremony in Las Vegas.

The couple brought their wedding forward by more than four months to avoid intense publicity and tied the knot yesterday evening.

The surprise news was confirmed on air by Virgin DJ Nick Abbot at 5.45pm today.
