Headteacher bans woolly hats from school
A headteacher who stopped his school's rugby team playing when they had David Beckham haircuts has now banned woolly hats from his school.
Roy Ludlow of the Beechen Cliff School in Bath said the hats are not part of the school uniform.
Last year he withdrew the under-16 team from the Somerset Cup when players shaved their heads.
Reports said he has banned the hats because students do not need them to keep warm.
He said students are wearing them 'for effect'.
