Geri Halliwell faces driving ban
Geri Halliwell is facing a driving ban when she appears in court for driving at twice the speed limit.
Halliwell pleaded guilty in writing in February but magistrates in Watford, Herts, have insisted that she appears in person for sentence.
The offence happened on October 31 last year as the 28-year-old singer drove an Aston Martin through Watford.
She was clocked driving at 60mph in a 30mph limit area.
Halliwell is due to appear at the Watford court under her full name Geraldine Estelle Halliwell.
The Home Office says the maximum sentence for speeding is a term of disqualification together with the requirement to retake a test and a fine of £2,500.
