Bush and Blair meet at Camp David

Plans for a missile defence shield and the Iraq situation were two of the topics discussed by George W Bush and Tony Blair in their first meeting.

Mr Bush told a news conference he felt confident he would be able to persuade sceptical allies to support a missile shield.
