Floods drive 12,000 from their homes in Philippines

Sudden floods have killed two people and have driven at least 12,000 others from their homes in the Philippines.

Emergency authorities say the Balugo River and tributaries overflowed their banks in the province of Negros after a night of pounding rain, flooding much of Silay city and nearby villages.
