Chris Evans to challenge Mel B in celebrity Big Brother show
A celebrity version of Big Brother will be staged to raise cash for Comic Relief.
Chris Evans, Mel B, Frank Skinner and Mariella Frostrup are all tipped to take part in the week-long project, during which one star will be evicted each day.
Channel 4, which ran the original series, wants to run the celebrity version each day until Comic Relief night then offer the BBC highlights for the night itself.
But the BBC wants a bigger share of the week's material, although Channel 4 executives are confident a deal will eventually be hammered out in time for the March show.
Channel 4 says that even when the stars are confirmed to take part, their names will not be revealed until the start of the show.
