David Bowie had overcome six heart attacks

David Bowie had suffered six heart attacks in 2015 before his death, it has been claimed.

The singer died on Sunday, just two days after his 69th birthday, following an 18-month long battle with liver cancer.

His biographer, Wendy Leigh, said that he suffered six heart attacks in recent years but fought back each time.
