‘No vanity’ to Jolie’s surgery, says Pitt

Brad Pitt heaped praise on his wife, Angelina Jolie, after she learned she could have signs of early-stage ovarian cancer and opted to have her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed just two years after undergoing a mastectomy.

Pitt said: “There was no vanity to my wife’s approach [to making a decision about surgery].”

In a rare joint interview, the Hollywood super-couple revealed how the obstacles they’ve faced have made their relationship stronger.
