Homeless boy becomes shining light

A young homeless boy has become a symbol of inspiration after he was pictured using the light from a McDonald’s restaurant to do his homework.

The picture of Daniel Cabrera was taking by medical student Joyce Torrefranca, who spotted him on the pavement in Manilla, Philippines.

She posted the picture on Facebook, and it soon went viral after hitting a nerve with thousands of people.
