David Cameron’s wife gets no de-brief on whereabouts

David Cameronās wife said her boss had a clearer idea of where the prime minister was campaigning when she met constituents in West London. She delivered leaflets with Brentford and Isleworth candidate Mary Macleod and they visited the home of local businessman Baljinder Hansra.
Asked by Mr Hansra where her husband was, she said: āTo be honest I donāt know. He left very early this morning. I went to work yesterday and my boss knew better than I did where David was. He gets back in the evening and we have a quick chat about the day but I donāt get a complete de-brief on his whereabouts.ā
Ms Cameron shared a cup of tea with Mr Hansra and his family, sitting barefoot in the family living room.
She asked about his children and grandchildren, learning about their favourite subjects at school, and about Mr Hansraās work.
Meanwhile, Russell Brand has backed Ed Milibandās view of how to change Britain by taking on societyās āpowerful elitesā. The comedian said he agreed with the Labour leader that voters do not want Barack Obama-style āyes we canā euphoria, but someone who would take on the likes of Rupert Murdoch and the banks.
In an interview which focused on the power of politics to tackle inequality, Mr Miliband pledged to deliver āreal, concrete, deliverable changeā to tackle the āfundamental problemā that people think the country is ārun for somebody elseā.
