An autopsy will be carried out today on the body of Cory Monteith, the handsome young actor who shot to fame in the hit TV series Glee.

The actor, who had admitted he was beset by addiction struggles so fierce that he believed he was lucky to be alive, was found dead in a hotel room. He was 31.
