Search continues for 100 trapped in mudslide

Rescue workers were searching yesterday for more than 100 people trapped by a mudslide in south-west China.

The official Xinhua News Agency said the mudslide, triggered by days of storms, engulfed a village in Yunnan province, trapping at least 200 people.

It said local firefighters had rescued more than 80 people.
