Whitney funeral to take place at childhood church

Whitney Houston’s funeral is to take place at the church in which she performed as a child.

The service will take place on Saturday at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, a week after her death.

The 48-year-old star’s body has arrived back in her home state of New Jersey after being flown from Los Angeles.
