Jury out as Jackson’s doctor awaits fate

JURORS considering the case against Michael Jackson’s doctor completed a morning of deliberations yesterday without asking any questions about evidence, or otherwise indicating how far along they have got in their discussions.

The jury have to reach a unanimous verdict to either convict or acquit Dr Conrad Murray of involuntary manslaughter in relation to Jackson’s June 2009 death.

Jackson died from a fatal dose of propofol. Murray has acknowledged giving Jackson the anaesthetic to help him sleep.
