Toddler awakes from 10-day coma following 10-storey fall

A TODDLER who fell 10 storeys and survived after being caught by a passer-by has woken from a 10-day coma, Chinese state media has reported.

The two-year-old girl plunged from the window of her family’s apartment in eastern Zhejiang province on July 2 after being left unattended.

Xinhua News Agency said she opened her eyes yesterday and called out to her parents.

It quoted a doctor as saying that “we can assume she’s out of danger”.
