Rooney plot trio in court

THREE people are to appear in court over an alleged plot to blackmail Coleen Rooney after she lost her mobile phone.

Lee Platt, 28, Jennifer Green, 25, and Steven Malcolm, 42, are charged with blackmail and handling stolen goods.

The wife of Manchester United and England star Wayne was the subject of an alleged plot after receiving a demand, reportedly a “five-figure” sum, for handing over private pictures of the couple’s baby son Kai.
