10 freed in Mladic hunt

A GROUP of 10 people accused of helping Europe’s most wanted fugitive Ratko Mladic evade justice, were cleared by a Serbian court yesterday.

The court said there was not enough evidence to prove that they were helping the former Bosnian Serb military commander remain free.

Mladic is wanted by a United Nations war crimes court on genocide charges for the massacre in 1995 of 8,000 Muslims in Srebrenica and other atrocities of Bosnia’s 1992-95 war.
